New Zealand Diploma in Child Protection - the purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with graduates who can protect and advocate for children.

Graduates will be able to speak out and take action to promote safety and wellbeing of children and a culture of child protection, and will be empowered to take a leadership role to advocate for children in situations where an organisation, community or societal response is required.

This qualification is designed for people who are working in or intending to enter into roles that affect children. 

The course consists of six 1-week blocks over a year and is designed to develop leaders in child protection.
The New Zealand Diploma in Child Protection forms the 3rd and top stage in the Child Matters training model.

The cost of the New Zealand Diploma in Child Protection in 2018 is $1,100 + GST.

This cost includes: workbooks, assessments, resources, and morning tea daily.
