Learn & Connect: Strengthening Child Protection Practice
This series of online networking webinars brings together those working with children to learn, share ideas, ask questions and connect with others in similar roles across Aotearoa. The sessions are particularly relevant for Designated Persons/Child Protection Leads, but are open to anyone with an interest in child protection. We discuss a new topic each month, so you can attend one or many; you'll take away something new each time.

Developing a network of experienced and knowledgeable peers can be incredibly valuable. It creates opportunities to share experiences, bounce ideas off one another, and support each other in the shared responsibility of protecting children across your communities, schools, and organisations.
Each Learn & Connect session will:
Focus on a specific topic relevant to your role
Explore a scenario related to that topic
Provide space for discussion and for your questions to be answered
Help you build knowledge and confidence in your child protection practice
